'Price is Right' Producer Denies Shunning Pregnant Model

Law360, Los Angeles (October 31, 2012, 9:53 PM EDT) -- The executive producer of "The Price is Right" testified Wednesday that he was not unhappy about former model Brandi Cochran's pregnancy, saying it was something the show could have used to appeal to its predominantly female audience.

Mike Richards countered Cochran's testimony in her discrimination suit against “The Price is Right's” production company, FremantleMedia North America, that the producers became “cold” toward her after they learned she was pregnant with twins and she was ultimately fired in February 2010 because of the pregnancy.
