Infoshred Should Get New Shot At VA Contract, GAO Says

Law360, New York (November 1, 2012, 1:53 PM EDT) -- Shredding company Infoshred LLC should have another chance to bid on a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs contract, the U.S. Government Accountability Office has said, ruling that the VA disqualified the company over a trivial technicality.

Infoshred's failure to formally mention an amendment in its response to the VA's solicitation did not sink its proposal, the GAO said in a decision released Oct. 26.
