Omeros Pays $4M To End Whistleblower's FCA Suit

Law360, New York (November 2, 2012, 3:08 PM EDT) -- Omeros Corp. has agreed to pay nearly $4 million to settle a former employee's qui tam False Claims Act suit alleging he was fired for exposing the abuse of a federal grant program, according to a Thursday regulatory filing.

The Seattle-based biopharmaceutical company and its chairman, president and CEO Gregory A. Demopulos have entered into a settlement with former Omeros CFO Richard J.
