Wal-Mart Women Say Outdated Precedent Nixed Class Claims

Law360, New York (November 2, 2012, 4:09 PM EDT) -- Maintaining that the dismissal of class claims against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in a sex bias suit lodged in Texas by former Dukes class members was based on precedent that was superseded by recent Supreme Court decisions, the plaintiffs sought permission on Thursday to appeal the ruling.
