Law360, New York (November 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Intellectual property firm Welsh & Katz Ltd. has lured James B. Conte, now a Welsh & Katz principal, into the fold with its reputation, specific focus on IP, size and support services.

Conte, who began working at Welsh & Katz on Thursday, said that he saw a growing tendency for clients to choose IP specialists over full-service firms for transactional IP work.
