Microsoft Wants Confidential Docs Sealed For Google Trial

Law360, New York (November 2, 2012, 6:59 PM EDT) -- Microsoft Corp. asked a Washington federal judge Thursday to seal a slew of confidential documents that the software giant is concerned could be introduced as exhibits in its upcoming patent royalty trial with Google Inc.'s Motorola Mobility Inc.

With the anticipated trial over standard-essential tech patents set to start on Nov 13, Microsoft wants the court to seal 63 documents relating to its licensing agreements with third-party companies, proprietary source code and other technical secrets, and strategic product planning and other business data.
