Group Slams Wackenhut Over Nuke Lab Break-In, Testing Row

Law360, New York (November 2, 2012, 7:50 PM EDT) -- A government spending watchdog called on the government to debar Wackenhut Services Inc. from receiving federal security contracts on Friday, citing Wackenhut's failure to stop a break-in at a high-security nuclear research facility and a recent U.S. Department of Energy report accusing the contractor of previewing security test questions.

The Project on Government Oversight said that a Monday report by the DOE’s inspector general should be the last straw for Wackenhut, which already lost its contract to guard the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge,...
