Texas Agency Considers Exclusive Well-Cleanup Contracts

Law360, Houston (November 6, 2012, 4:37 PM EST) -- The head of a Texas agency that regulates oil and gas development on Tuesday suggested that his commission could ask the state Legislature next year to authorize it to incentivize companies to bid on government contracts to plug potentially toxic abandoned oil wells.
