Ex-Phillies Practice Pitcher Sues Team For Defamation

Law360, Philadelphia (November 6, 2012, 5:50 PM EST) -- A former batting practice pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies sued the baseball team in Pennsylvania state court on Monday, contending that after he was terminated, the team and its general manager spread malicious information about him to other potential employers.
