EEOC Tells 5th Circ. That Lactation Bias Is Sex Bias

Law360, New York (November 8, 2012, 4:55 PM EST) -- A U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission attorney insisted Tuesday that Title VII's ban on sex bias extends to discrimination based on lactation, urging the Fifth Circuit to revive a lawsuit against a debt collector that allegedly fired a woman after she asked to use a breast pump at work.
