NBC's Contract Claims Survive In Dish DVR Row

Law360, New York (November 9, 2012, 3:04 PM EST) -- NBCUniversal Media LLC's contract breach claims over Dish Network LLC's ad-skipping digital video recording technology can proceed in California federal court, as the judge presiding over the copyright component of the case in that venue ruled that Dish's concurrent New York case does not preclude similar claims from being raised in her court.
