Mitsubishi May Face Antitrust Claims In Cathode Ray MDL

Law360, New York (November 13, 2012, 4:32 PM EST) -- A special master on Friday recommended allowing a group of indirect purchaser plaintiffs to add Mitsubishi Electric Corp. as a defendant in the multidistrict litigation accusing electronics makers of fixing prices for cathode ray tubes.

Special Master Charles A. Legge concluded that the consumer plaintiffs should have the chance to amend their complaint to include Mitsubishi and two of its U.S. units to the California federal court case based on evidence it discovered during recent depositions.
