ITC Finds Asian Steel Pipe Imports Don't Harm US Industry

Law360, New York (November 14, 2012, 4:15 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission on Wednesday determined that imports of certain welded steel pipe from countries in the Middle East and Asia have not harmed U.S. producers, a decision that rules out possible anti-dumping and countervailing duties on the products.

In a 4-2 vote, the ITC's commissioners determined that circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from India, Oman, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates did not materially injure or threaten economic harm to American producers of the goods.
