Ford Beats Ex-Worker's Whistleblower Suit In 6th Circ.

Law360, New York (November 14, 2012, 8:26 PM EST) -- The Sixth Circuit found Wednesday that Ford Motor Co. did not violate whistleblower protection laws when it fired a credit department employee, who claimed he was let go after disagreeing with higher-ups during a fraud investigation.

A three-judge panel sided against plaintiff Robert Reamer, a former employee in Ford's Dealer Field Credit Department from 1994 to 2008, who alleged that Ford harassed and terminated him after he aided the FBI's fraud probes at two dealerships.
