2nd Circ. Affirms Toss Of 'Modern Family' Idea Theft Suit

Law360, New York (November 14, 2012, 8:00 PM EST) -- The Second Circuit on Wednesday affirmed the dismissal of a suit by a writer claiming the producers of the ABC sitcom "Modern Family" stole his idea, finding no substantial similarity between the show and the plaintiff's pilot script.
