Obama Offers Up 7 District Court Picks, Including 2 In NY

Law360, New York (November 14, 2012, 10:21 PM EST) -- In his first set of judicial nominations since re-election, President Barack Obama on Wednesday sent seven nominations for federal district court judgeships to the U.S. Senate, including one in California and two in New York.

The nominations include two for New York federal court — one of whom is vice president and deputy general counsel at Northrop Grumman Corp. — and one each for California, New Mexico, Florida, Colorado and Hawaii federal courts.
