Facebook Loses Bid To Compel Expert Docs In Ownership Row

Law360, New York (November 20, 2012, 7:42 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge Tuesday blocked Facebook Inc.’s request for disclosures from a forensic document expert for a man who claims company founder Mark Zuckerberg promised him half the business, saying the additional details aren’t essential to a fair outcome in the case.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Leslie G. Foschio reached his conclusion after noting that Facebook had managed to file paperwork in support of a motion to dismiss Paul Ceglia’s lawsuit despite lacking the requested information from expert Larry Stewart.
