White Atty Sues Housing Authority For Race Discrimination

Law360, New York (November 21, 2012, 7:55 PM EST) -- An in-house attorney for the San Francisco Housing Authority sued the agency Wednesday, alleging he was discriminated against, harassed and threatened by the SFHA's executive director for being white.

In a complaint filed in San Francisco Superior Court, SFHA assistant general counsel Tim Larsen accused authority Executive Director Henry A. Alvarez III of repeatedly harassing him and other white employees on a daily basis and of denying him a promotion to general counsel.
