Rubio's, Nationwide End Tainted Fish Suit Coverage Fight

Law360, New York (November 26, 2012, 3:18 PM EST) -- Rubio's Restaurants Inc. on Wednesday settled its suit against Nationwide Mutual Fire Insurance Co. that claimed the insurer had to pay for defending the California-based eatery chain in a complaint by a patron who was allegedly sickened after eating the restaurant's fish.

Terms of the settlement, revealed in a joint dismissal motion filed by Rubio's and Nationwide in California federal court, weren't disclosed. Representatives for the parties couldn't immediately be reached for comment Monday.
