9th Circ. Affirms Lack Of Similarity In 'Big C' Copyright Suit

Law360, New York (November 26, 2012, 6:52 PM EST) -- A cancer survivor who says Showtime Networks Inc.'s television series “The Big C” is a rip-off of her own screenplay about living with cancer failed to revive her suit against the network after the Ninth Circuit on Monday affirmed a lack of substantial similarities between the two works.
