Most Of Developer’s Suit Over Pay For AIG HQ Redo Tossed

Law360, New York (November 27, 2012, 4:51 PM EST) -- A New York judge has tossed the majority of claims a developer filed against a South Korean bank over payment for redeveloping American International Group Inc.’s former headquarters, and slashed the developer’s $7.7 million damages proposal, according to an order filed Monday.

Judge Eileen Bransten dismissed without prejudice four of Sciame Development Inc.’s five claims against Kumho Investment Bank and several of its units. Sciame is seeking payment for services rendered in converting AIG’s former offices at 70 Pine St. in Manhattan to apartments, according to...
