Ceglia Indicted On Fraud Charges For Facebook Suit

Law360, New York (November 26, 2012, 10:40 PM EST) -- A New York grand jury on Monday indicted a man who previously claimed in a lawsuit that he was entitled to a 50 percent stake in Facebook Inc. on two counts of fraud for allegedly basing his claims on doctored evidence.

A grand jury charged Paul Ceglia, 39, of Wellsville, N.Y., with one count each of mail fraud and wire fraud allegedly doctoring a legitimate contract between Ceglia and Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg — in which Zuckerberg performed some programming work for Ceglia unrelated...
