Beanie Baby Founder Nixes $900M Bid For Four Seasons

Law360, New York (November 27, 2012, 4:21 PM EST) -- Billionaire Beanie Baby toymaker Ty Warner and his hotel company said Tuesday they had rejected an offer from an unidentified Asian investor to buy the iconic Four Seasons hotel in New York City for $900 million, citing the ongoing recovery of the local real estate market.

Ty Warner Hotels CFO Donna Snopek announced the rejected offer in an emailed statement.

"Due to the continued strength in the New York real estate market and impending fiscal cliff, [Warner] does not feel that this is an advantageous time...
