Southwest Exposed Credit Card Info On Receipts, Suit Says

Law360, New York (November 28, 2012, 6:12 PM EST) -- Southwest Airlines Co. printed the expiration date of consumers' credit and debit cards on receipts in violation of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act, according to a proposed class action removed to California federal court Monday.

Plaintiff Robert Miller says he used a credit or debit card to buy a ticket from Southwest in October, and saw that the expiration date of his card was printed on the receipt he received. He believes the airline has been doing that since at least October 2007, according...
