Mary J. Blige Slammed By Signature Bank Over Loan Default

Law360, New York (November 29, 2012, 6:29 PM EST) -- Signature Bank said Wednesday that Mary J. Blige owes more than $2 million after defaulting on a loan, suing the R&B singer and record producer in New York state court.

The New York-based commercial bank brought a lawsuit against Blige, her husband, Martin Isaacs, and Mary Jane Productions Inc. in New York Supreme Court, alleging Blige and Isaacs took out a $2.2 million loan for which they defaulted earlier this year.
