Simpson Helps Atlantic Yards Developer In $117M Skanska Deal

Law360, New York (November 30, 2012, 7:26 PM EST) -- Swedish construction giant Skanska AB on Wednesday said it signed a $117 million contract to build a residential tower in Brooklyn's Atlantic Yards project, noting that the tower will be the country's tallest modular building.

Forest City Ratner Companies, the developer for Atlantic Yards, tapped Skanska for the mixed-income B2 Building at Atlantic Yards, and will partner with Skanska to create a new company that will fabricate the building's modular components, Skanska said in a statement.
