JPMorgan Emails Sought By FERC Are Privileged, Judge Says

Law360, New York (November 30, 2012, 5:51 PM EST) -- A JPMorgan & Co. energy unit doesn’t have to turn over unredacted emails to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in connection with a probe over electricity market manipulation in California and the Midwest because the company is protected by attorney-client privilege, a Washington magistrate judge said Thursday.
