Filibuster Threat Over, Sens. Move On With Defense Bill

Law360, New York (November 30, 2012, 11:09 PM EST) -- The Senate continued Friday to prepare the National Defense Authorization Act for a full vote next week, after a Thursday night amendment limited the law's rubber-stamping of military detentions for U.S. citizens and ended a filibuster threat by Sen. Rand Paul and others.
