Law360, New York (December 10, 2012, 2:10 PM EST) -- California’s “Shine the Light” statute, Civil Code §1798.83 and the related remedy provisions in §1798.84 (collectively, Shine the Light) allow California residents to request information from businesses about their third-party information sharing practices.
