Co-Op To Sue NYC For 'Wasteful' $20M Asbestos Cleanup

Law360, New York (December 3, 2012, 5:59 PM EST) -- A group of residents at Co-Op City, a cooperative housing development in the Bronx, planned to launch a suit against the city and its environmental protection department in New York state court Monday over a $20 million asbestos remediation program they claim is unnecessary because the asbestos is not airborne.
