NJ Judge Moves Lockheed Martin Navy Contract Suit To Md.

Law360, New York (December 3, 2012, 7:21 PM EST) -- A subcontractor's lawsuit against Lockheed Martin Corp. and two insurers over a contract to install security gates at several naval facilities doesn't belong in New Jersey because the project itself is in Maryland, a federal judge ruled Friday.

U.S. District Judge Faith S. Hochberg said that even though ECSI International Inc. had done most of its work on the contract in New Jersey, the naval facilities where the gates were to be installed are located in Maryland and Washington, D.C.
