Pa. Dems Blast Gov.'s Lottery Privatization Plans

Law360, Philadelphia (December 4, 2012, 4:58 PM EST) -- Pennsylvania House Democratic leaders assailed Gov. Tom Corbett's privatization plans for the state's lottery Monday, claiming a proposed management agreement with a British company could cost older Pennsylvanians hundreds of millions of dollars in lost funding.

The legislators contended that the governor has hidden the details of the privatization efforts and that the deal with the proposed licensee — Camelot Global Services PA LLC — would obligate the state to pay Camelot’s operating expenses.
