Texas DOT Seeks Trucking-Fee Hike As Energy Industry Booms

Law360, Dallas (December 18, 2012, 3:25 PM EST) -- The Texas Department of Transportation on Tuesday told a state Senate committee that the energy and trucking industries should pay five times more for permits to drive oversized or overweight trucks so the state can pay to maintain and repair its roads.
