NY Fed Contractor Gets Home Confinement For Code Theft

Law360, New York (December 4, 2012, 7:25 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge on Tuesday sentenced a computer programmer and contractor at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to six months home confinement for stealing proprietary software code from the U.S. Department of the Treasury's accounting and reporting program.

Bo Zhang, 32, was sentenced today to three years supervised release and six months home confinement by U.S. District Judge Paul Gardephe, a U.S. Department of Justice of spokesperson said Tuesday.
