Standard Chartered To Pay $330M More Over Iran Violations

Law360, New York (December 6, 2012, 4:39 PM EST) -- Standard Chartered PLC announced Thursday that it expects to pay about $330 million to U.S. authorities to resolve claims it helped Iranian government-backed banks transfer more than $250 billion in violation of U.S. sanctions, following an earlier $340 million settlement with the New York Department of Financial Services.
