Standard Chartered To Pay $327M In New Iran Sanctions Deal

Law360, New York (December 10, 2012, 1:45 PM EST) -- Standard Chartered PLC on Monday agreed to a $327 million settlement with federal and local prosecutors over allegations that it helped Iranian government-backed companies and banks evade U.S. sanctions, months after the British bank settled a similar case with New York state.
