LA Landfill Neighbors Sue Browning-Ferris Over Pollutants

Law360, Los Angeles (December 12, 2012, 9:08 PM EST) -- Neighbors of the Sunshine Canyon landfill near Los Angeles accused landfill operator Browning-Ferris Industries of California Inc. in a putative class action Tuesday of creating a nuisance by releasing pollutants, air contaminants and noxious odors from the landfill into their neighborhoods.
