BASF Beats Suit Alleging Fraud In Asbestos Injury Defense

Law360, New York (December 12, 2012, 9:30 PM EST) -- A New Jersey federal judge on Wednesday dismissed a putative class action accusing BASF Catalysts LLC and its counsel Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP of scuttling thousands of asbestos injury suits by concealing and destroying evidence revealing that the company's talc products contained the carcinogen.
