CEO Blunders Spur Whole Foods To Revamp Policy

Law360 (November 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- After its chief executive got into hot water for making a number of online posts trashing its rival, Whole Foods Market Inc. has revised its company policy prohibiting its top executives from posting anything on the Internet about the natural foods retailer.

Employment lawyers say Whole Foods is making a wise move, and more companies need to take similar steps before employees post information that could damage their reputations or leave the door open for lawsuits.
