2nd Circ. Sides With The Platters' Reed In Trademark Feud

Law360, New York (December 14, 2012, 7:21 PM EST) -- Adding to a string of court victories for the late Platters singer Herb Reed in his decades-long battle over the rights to the band's name, the Second Circuit on Thursday affirmed a district court decision denying a promoter's claim of civil contempt against Reed and dismissing a case seeking damages.
