Arbitration Co. Sued Over Use Of Credit Checks In Hiring

Law360, Los Angeles (December 14, 2012, 7:17 PM EST) -- A class action was filed Friday in a New Jersey federal court alleging American Arbitration Association Inc. ran afoul of the Fair Credit Reporting Act by denying jobs to applicants based on credit reports without first giving them the opportunity to contest the findings.
