Lloyds Banking Taps UK FSA Counsel For GC Post

Law360, New York (December 18, 2012, 6:34 PM EST) -- Lloyds Banking Group has appointed U.K. Financial Services Authority veteran counsel Andrew Whittaker to serve as its new general counsel beginning in the second quarter of 2013, the bank announced last week.

Whittaker joins the bank after more than 11 years as general counsel to the FSA board, where he led the agency’s contribution to the crafting of U.K. financial regulations including the Financial Services and Markets Act, the bank said in a statement.
