Apple Loses Bid For Permanent Ban On Samsung Devices

Law360, New York (December 18, 2012, 3:46 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Monday refused Apple Inc.'s bid for a U.S. sales ban on several Samsung Electronics Co Ltd. smartphones found to infringe the company's patents and trade dress, saying Apple failed to establish that certain protected features of the iPhone drove consumer demand for its products.
