'Midnight In Paris' Transformed Faulkner Quote, Sony Says

Law360, Los Angeles (December 20, 2012, 2:12 PM EST) -- Sony Pictures Classics Inc. asked a Mississippi federal judge on Wednesday to dismiss a suit brought by William Faulkner’s estate over the use of a quote from the author in the Woody Allen film "Midnight in Paris," saying the quote was transformative and constituted fair use under copyright law.
