NJ Appeals Court Overturns Denial Of Mayor's Pension Bid

Law360, New York (December 20, 2012, 3:17 PM EST) -- A New Jersey appeals court on Thursday overturned the state pension board's denial of a public transportation employee's retirement application because he still served as mayor of a New Jersey town, ruling that a state law prohibiting such activity was enacted after he submitted his application.
