Court Upholds Injunction, Says Canon Likely To Prevail

Law360 (November 16, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal appeals court panel has upheld a preliminary injunction that stops certain companies from selling toner cartridges in the United States that can be used as replacements in Canon Inc.'s laser printers and fax machines.

In an opinion handed down Friday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit said the balance of hardship favored Canon, and that it was likely to prevail on the merits of the case.
