Texas To Take Up Employer Access To Social Media Passwords

Law360, Dallas (January 3, 2013, 9:10 PM EST) -- When the Texas Legislature convenes Tuesday, it will have a chance to take on the hot-button issue of whether employers can require workers to turn over social networking passwords, but experts say that to win passage, the new bill will need to define more clearly what employers can do to monitor social media activity.
