Groupon Settles Trademark Dispute With Software Co.

Law360, New York (January 2, 2013, 7:47 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday dismissed a trademark and cybersquatting dispute involving coupon giant Groupon Inc. and customer service software company Groupion LLC, after the companies reached a deal to settle the legal battle.

U.S. District Judge Jeffrey S. White formally signed off on a voluntary dismissal that Groupon and Groupion had stipulated to on Dec. 21, citing a confidential settlement.
