Disney Asks Judge To Freeze 3-D Patent Bankruptcy Sale

Law360, Los Angeles (January 3, 2013, 9:25 PM EST) -- Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Productions asked a judge in Delaware federal court Wednesday to halt Digital Domain Media Group Inc.’s planned sale of 3-D film technology patents as part of a bankruptcy proceeding, claiming the sale would restrict its rights to use the technology.
