Promoter Claims Live Nation, Caesars Failed To Hype Show

By Matt Fair (January 3, 2013, 4:36 PM EST) -- A Philadelphia promoter sued Live Nation Worldwide Inc. and Caesars Entertainment Corp. in Pennsylvania state court Monday, alleging they failed to live up to their end of a contract to secure corporate sponsorship and sell tickets to a music awards show and concert.

Global Warming Productions LLC, which produces concerts and events showcasing dubstep music, contends Live Nation, Caesars and booking agent C3 Presents LLC violated the terms of a contract regarding the promotion and hosting of the 2012 Dubstep Music Awards at the House of Blues inside the Showboat Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, N.J.
